Yellow - Coldplay

Chris Martin's inspiration for the song came during a break in a recording session. He gazed up at the sky and was met with a starry night. The producer Ken Nelson said "look at the stars..." and a song was born...

Coldplay's second hit single reached number four in July 2000 and will be remembered for the video, featuring Chris Martin walking along a beach on the Isle of Purback with a starry sky behind him.
