BRITs 25 Song Award
Babylon - David Grey

Written in his small house in North London, 'Babylon' was one of several songs written as a result of being dropped from his record label. The song appeared on Gray's breakthrough fourth album 'White Ladder'.

To date, 'Babylon' remains his biggest UK hit reaching no.5 in July 2000, despite his first single was 'Birds Without Wings' being released way back in 1992.
