"I was sent actually to go and try and interview Noel Gallagher about whether Oasis had split up one day. I went to his answer phone in front of his house and pressed it. And he said 'Who's That?'. There's a crowd of reporters outside and none of us had seen him and I said 'It's Jeremy Vine from Newsnight'."
