i love this song even though i was a child when it first came out. but i do sometimes hear it on telly, i really like this song.

Found this on a Google search. Meatloaf & Bob Seger seem to have a knack of singing songs a lot of people can identify with. As Steve wrote, Meatloaf puts his soul into the performance. The exchange at the end between him & the female singer rings all too true. Yeah, it may sound hokey, but think of the first girl(or guy for the women)you fell head over heels about. The song ought to be ranked higher than it is.
