This song has the ability to move me more than any other. I cannot imagine anyone failing to be moved by the pathos of the lyrics and the way in which Michael Stipes sings the song - his voice suits it perfectly

Draco, Runcorn This is one of the few songs that can get me from happy to a mass of tears in a few seconds. It is hauntingly beautiful and one of the best songs from REM's back catalogue.
