Each morning from 16 - 19 November, Sir Terry Wogan once again hosted his 'Things Money Can't Buy' Auction.

As always, the team lined up a whole host of incredible once-in-a-lifetime experiences you could bid for to help the TOGmeister raise another huge sum for Children in Need.

Lot #1: Raymond Blanc Cookery Spectacular

The Package:

Legendary chef Raymond Blanc is once again jumping on board the Pudsey Train and lending his talents to our worthy cause.

• You and 7 friends will personally dine with Raymond Blanc in Le Manoir’s private dining room, La Belle Epoque

• You’ll enjoy a specially created 10 course signature dinner to include a Champagne aperitif with individually selected wines to match each course and there’ll be personalised menus for you to take away.

• Raymond Blanc will dine with you

• You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the kitchen to see where your dinner is prepared

• You’ll then have overnight accommodation in 4 luxury suites with a magnum of champers waiting in each suite for your arrival, as well as a set of signed RB books for the winner

• Day 2 - spend a private day in the Raymond Blanc cookery school being taught by the school director along with a guided tour of the gardens.

If you love the series ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ and want to trace your own family tree, or maybe you’re already well on your way but you could do with some tips from the experts, then this package is for you!

• Day One: 25 Thursday February next year you’ll spend at The National Archives in Kew as a VIP. You’ll have a guided tour and see the areas visitors don’t get to experience, plus you will see a selection of the nation’s historical documents. Then you’ll sit down with one of the Genealogy experts who’ll either get you started on your journey, or help you with what you’ve done already.

• Day Two: Friday 26 February next year tickets to Who Do You Think You Are? Live 2010 at Olympia. The highlight of the day is a one hour, one-to-one session with Dan Jones, resident expert at Ancestry.co.uk. You’ll also receive a year’s membership to Ancestry.co.uk to help with your research.

• Then, at the end of the Spring you’ll return to London for a very special lunch at celebrity haunt Joe Allen’s - with one of the stars of ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ Barbara Windsor, and one of the directors, Sue Hills.

There you can share your experiences on tracing your roots, reminisce with Barbara about her episode and quiz Sue about how the programme comes together.

• Firstly, you and a guest will spend a day on the set of ITV’s ‘Marple’ starring Julia McKenzie in London early next year

• Whilst there, you’ll be able to observe filming, have lunch with the crew & actors on set.

• You’ll also have a walk on part as a supporting artist!

• As if that’s not enough you’ll then have two tickets to see the world’s longest-running play - Agatha Christie’s ‘The Mousetrap’ in London

• There you’ll have a backstage tour of the theatre and... 

• Dinner at The Ivy with members of the production team and cast.

Lot #5: A Guitar Lesson And Concert With Chris Rea

Chris Rea is one of the UK’s most successful and well respected musicians having sold over 30 million albums worldwide.

Now, the man behind iconic tracks such as ‘Fool If You Think It’s Over’, and ‘Road To Hell’ is offering the highest bidder the opportunity to learn his tricks of the trade.

• You’ll come to London where you’ll have a 45 minute guitar lesson with Chris

• He’ll teach you to play the bottleneck guitar, one of the styles closest to his heart

• Then, in March or April next year, you’ll have two tickets to one of his concerts on the UK tour

• And of course he’ll be expecting you to keep him updated with your guitar abilities when you catch up with him at the gig.

Lot #6: Six Nations Extravaganza

The Package:
For rugby nuts everywhere, now is your chance to get in the centre of the action at the Six Nations.

• For four people

• In February next year, you and three friends will have VIP access for the England v Ireland leg of the RBS Six Nations tournament.

• You’ll go behind the scenes with the England team at their base in Surrey, watching them in training before lunch at the team hotel and an opportunity to meet some of the players

• Then, you and three friends will have tickets to the England v Ireland game at Twickenham on 27 February with a lunch in the VIP area and admission to the Members' Lounge.

• You'll also get a look behind the scenes at the stadium during Twickenham's Centenary Season. Keith Kent, the head groundsman, will show you round.

• After the final whistle goes there’ll be further hospitality at the ‘players tea’ in the Spirit of Rugby restaurant.

• You'll also receive a collection of 10 fine bottles of Champagne individually signed by each of the 2009 Sportingchefs with a pudsey bear label.
