The Kinks released 'Victoria' in 1969 and it reached No.33 in the UK Singles Chart. It's the opening track of their 1969 concept album, 'Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire)'.
The track was covered by The Fall in 1988, while The Kooks' cover was released on the 2009 Warchild abum 'Heroes'.
