What is Latitude?
The Latitude Festival takes place between 16 - 19 July, and BBC Radio 2 are there to bring you the best the festival has to offer.
With music but also theatre, art, comedy, cabaret, poetry, politics and literature across its many stages, Latitude is a feast of entertainment for a wide variety of artistic tastes.

The Radcliffe & Maconie Show: 16 July 2000 - 2200

Stuart Maconie hosts the show solo kicking off Radio 2's coverage of Latitude 2009, live from behind the festival's Obelisk Arena. Speaking to various performers as they arrive at the Sunrise Coast festival, he'll have an interview and session from hotly-tipped electro pop artist Victoria Hesketh, aka Little Boots, and an interview with Edwyn Collins plus his manager and biographer Grace Maxwell.
Poet and friend of the show Simon Armitage will be dropping by in the second hour, and Claudia Winkleman will be chatting about her Friday night show, which is live from Latitude.

Claudia Winkleman showcases the best artists at this year's Latitude Festival, with guests including Squeeze, Regina Spektor, Ladyhawke, Robin Ince and comedian Lenny Beige. Event creator Melvin Benn will also be popping by to explain the evolution of the festival.

Dermot O'Leary: 18 July 1500 - 1800

Dermot O'Leary hosts a special Radio 2 Introduces performance from burgeoning star Elviin, recorded in the BBC Radio Arena at Latitude.
Dermot also chats to some of the artists appearing at the festival, and there are live acoustic performances from Mika, Turin Brakes, Golden Silvers and Camera Obscura.

Janice presents a comprehensive round up of all the action at this weekend's Latitude Festival in Suffolk, featuring interviews, live tracks from the main stage and intimate acoustic performances recorded especially for the show.
You can also hear the results of Eg White's Great British Songbook Masterclass, where he composes a song with the help of festival goers. Eg is an award-winning songwriter and producer, who wrote 'Chasing Pavements' by Adele, 'Warwick Avenue' by Duffy and 'Leave Right Now' by Will Young.
