Terms & Conditions of Sale

  • Please note this is an age restricted show - age 14+ (14 - 16s must be accompanied by an adult).
  • Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or transferred.
  • As a ticket holder, you consent to being photographed or filmed as a member of the audience, and consent to resulting materials being used in commercial distribution, publication and BBC communications, without payment or copyright.
  • The management reserves the right to refuse admission to and/or eject any person appearing to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or otherwise behaving dangerously or inappropriately. No refund will be available under these circumstances.
  • Tickets must not be sold for profit or commercial gain by any outlet other than See Tickets. Failure to comply will make this ticket and transaction void.
  • The BBC reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised programme at any time and without advance notice.
  • There is no admittance or re-admittance to the Roundhouse after 11pm. For some performances, a no re-admission policy will operate throughout - please check on arrival at the venue.
  • Glass containers, cans and other large, heavy or sharp objects are not allowed in the Main Space or Studio Theatre.
  • Audio and video recording equipment is not allowed in performance areas.The Roundhouse reserves the right to insist that any such equipment is left in the cloakroom.
  • Food and drink purchased elsewhere may not be consumed at the Roundhouse.
  • Mobile phones and pagers must be silenced before entering performance areas.
  • Pets are not allowed in the Roundhouse. Assistance dogs are permitted.
  • There may be high levels of noise and effects such as strobe lighting or smoke effects used at this venue.

    1. Registration is open to all UK residents (including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) aged 16 or over, except BBC employees, any person connected to the ticket ballot and their close relatives. Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.

    2. Registration only enters the applicant into a lottery to become eligible to purchase the £5 tickets and can only be made online at www.bbc.co.uk/radio2. The registration form will open at 10:00am on Friday 22 October 2010 and will close on Monday 25 October at 6:00pm. Registration is capped at 1 per person per event date.

    3. Applications must contain the following information: (i) name, (ii) address, (iii) the date of the event applicant would like to attend, and (iv) daytime contact number.

    4. There are 10 pairs of £5 tickets available per event that will be allocated at random based on applicant's postcode. The allocation process for tickets is geographically weighted as follows: 80% across the selected postcodes in London and the South-East* and 20% for the rest of the country.

    5. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email Tuesday 26 October to inform them that they have been allocated a pair of tickets. Applicants must print the email and present it together with photo identification upon payment for the £5 per ticket at the box office. Tickets need to be purchased from the Roundhouse Box Office on the night of the performance the person is attending.

    6. The BBC's decision as to the ticket allocation is final. No correspondence relating to the ticket ballot will be entered into.

    7. Application is for a pair of tickets to attend the BBC Electric Proms at The Roundhouse, Camden, London on the dates listed below. The tickets cannot be sold or transferred in any circumstances.

    Thursday 28 October at 7:00pm

    Friday 29 October at 7:00pm

    Saturday 30 October at 7:00pm

    8. The BBC will not reimburse the winners for any costs incurred in attending the event i.e. travel and/or accommodation.

    9. The BBC will not be responsible for any failure by the ticket holders to gain entry or re-entry to the event due to the behaviour of the ticket holder or their failure to meet the admission requirements of the event.

    10. The BBC reserves the right to: (i) vary the opening times of the ticket-ballot; (ii) disqualify any entrant who breaches the rules or has acted fraudulently in any way; (iii) withdraw any ticket, at any stage, should any winner or their guest exhibit inappropriate or dangerous behaviour (including, but not limited to being under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs or chemical substances or causing a nuisance) and; (iv) cancel or vary the event or ticket giveaway, at any stage, if in its opinion it is deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside its control.

    11. The BBC, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem which may result in any application being lost, not properly registered or tickets not arriving.

    12. The BBC will only use personal details for the purposes of administering this ticket ballot, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without permission. Read more about the BBC Privacy Policy.

    13. The ticket ballot in this programme accords with the BBC's Code of Conduct for Competitions and Voting.

    14. The promoter of the ticket ballot is the British Broadcasting Corporation and the applicable law is the laws of England and Wales.

    15. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when registering.
