Despite preconceptions, The Cambridge Folk Festival is not just chock-full with older, lifelong Folk fans, it is also home to many young, musical things.
Plenty of under 18s go to Cambridge to revel in the creative atmosphere and find support for their singing and songwriting talents.
In order to showcase the festival's oral tradition of passing on tunes and songs, we challenged BRIT Award winner Eddi Reader to teach a group of young musicians a traditional Scottish folk song in 10 mins.

The children featured were at the festival taking part in a weekend of singing/songwriting classes called The Hub. They had never met each other before that weekend and had never met Eddi before she turned up with her guitar... .
