Two weeks before the Cambridge Folk Festival 2009, we encouraged people who had tickets to the event to join our Folk Text Club.

All we told them was that BBC Radio 2 would be organising a "special musical event" during the weekend. We didn't say where, or when or what was involved.

As the festival got closer, we sent the Text Club members texts with little hints about what was going to happen.

The whole thing accumulated with a surpise jamming session, slap-bang in the middle of the festival site, headed by Jon Boden of Bellowhead fame.
