Stayed in Tsilivi couple of years ago, must go back, beach is gorgeous, and you must go on Spiros's boat trip on a speedboat with 10/12 max, go to the shipwreck, and actually go inside the blue caves, then as you pull back into the beach, Spiros gets you all to wave and he 'honks' the horn as loud as possible! Hes hilarious, recommend for anyone!

Great Island when I lived and worked there. One tip, get out of Laganas and take a car or a moped to the mountain villages of Volimes or exo hora....see some real Greece in the day!This island is gorgeous so by all means have a party in Cherry Bay but get out there and catch some real Zakynthos.

just got back on monday from laganas. Stayed in Paradise Aparments, great from from danny, babis, elvis, and sandra. The best clubs are ghetto and rescue, also pink pantha is a great karaoki bar before the night out down the strip, mad jessy makes it great fun in there. Also, mad murphies is good, the irish bar, look out for it, its on the second floor. great holiday, defo goin back!

Zante is amazing! zeros for the sexiest barman ever rick flame juggling and topless, what more could you want. Also cherry bay is a great athmosphere for all night party anthems. Go on the boat trip and see the shipwreck and caves!

Hire some transport, buy snorkels and flippers and get yourself over to keri i think its called or near there where you can go cliff diving and swim into massive caves its awesome. there is also a restaurant on top of the cliff to eat with spectacular views.

I went to Laganas in June with 3 friends. Had an amazing time. We've been to all the similar places around the world. We think Laganas is the best for all round fun and drinking. Great ballance of males and females. Go to St Nicks beach. It's 100% better than the one at Laganas. Stay at the Cactus hotel (perfect location and amazing staff!) Giorgios will make the best food for ya... The Pizza place near Cactus hotel supply the best after hours food - all hand cooked in front of you... Drinking and dancing: Rescues (great sound system), Zeros and Cherry Bay for the early morning crew! Be prepared for the LONG queues at the air port (bring water). We are bringing more friends back next year!

We both worked in Zante in 2002 and had the best time of our lives...If you are in Tsilivi, go to Fiorentino restaurant, this place is amazing and serves the best greek food i've ever tasted on the island and there is always a queue outside!!(ive been going to zante for the last 14 years).Pop over to marathonisi island, from keri, pack your cream, i got sunburnt there!!! Any boat tour is worth the money.Also if you go in august there is usually a beach party, on the way to st.nicholas, listen to the local radio for info. Hire a bike, you can do the island in a day, be careful, the roads are terrible!!! Miss the good times and friends i have in zante......

Hi my and my girlfriend stayed in Laganas last year. The night life was great, the food was great, the trips were great. Everything was great. One tip I must give though. As you're walking through the streets of Laganas and you walk past all the resturants you're get the waiters asking if you want to go in. If you have already eaten then gently let them down and make a point to return later and try out most of the resturants at least once as these people are really nice and great to chat to.

You have to spend a night in Cherrybay Beach Club till 8 in the morning watching the sun come up whilst partying still! I used to DJ there, Boozerz and Mad murphys in 2004 and 2005.Also go and see the unofficial workers Majour of Laganas, Lotion aka the potion in waikiki, you cant miss him, he has bleached blonde hair!Also go to turtle island and Mermaids restaurant in Kalamaki for the best food on the Island!Big mention to all the workers over there that know me and are still living the dream!

Just got back from my second trip to Zante of the yr, and wish I wash back there now. If you like your R'n'B you've got to head to Waikiki's at the bottom of the strip. G-Spot was also one of our favourites. It was so hot when we were out there, almost too hot, reaching 45 degrees! Its a great place and we are missing it loads! Make sure you do the boat trip and go to the blue caves and shipwreck, just dont do it after a night of heavy drinking! Carly-Guildford

Two words people: Cherry Bay! It is the place to be. Where else to you get to dance in a speed boat? Also Cheveys, the 50's style diner is the best place for both sundaes and cocktails. I'm so envious. I went to Zante in 2005 after I finished University. Its the best place to blow off steam.

you cant flush the loo roll here so make sure you put bin liners in your bins(lidded bins are a must) and use your babysiblings nappy sacks that are fragranced for days in after nights out in plus bar, cherry bay and zeros bar in laganas.and cuba bar in alykanas where nicos does the best cocktails ever... failing that have a great swim in millenium pool bar where steph does the bestbaked potatoes and chicken nuggets. for the best entertainment come and see me sing and dance in the alykanas village( superfamily)

Stayed in Laganas about 2 minutes away from the strip which was amazing! Go Medousa, nobody ever tells you to go there but it's so good! Likeliness that you'll end up dancing on a bar - just try not to fal off, especially during the fire show!

We went to Zante in June. Had the best holiday ever and still missing the amazing weather and all the fun we had. We stayed at Ionis Hotel which was really nice, and met some fantastic people. Especially loved the lads from Wales and Essex and Claire and Emily from Birmingham. Everywhere was good. Try all the bars out if u last that long. Chevys is great 4 breakfast after a heavy night.U have to watch out 4 the kids though. Thieving little gits. Wish we were there with u, and so excited about returning nxt year. xxxxxxxx

For the best fry up after a heavy night go to chevvys its next to murphys the irish pub . And Coctails and Dreams is the best club and if you still want more after that go to cherry bay its open untill you want it to be !!

Went to Lganas about 5 weeks ago, was amazing. Rescue club is defo the place to be, and has the fittest bar maids. Cherry bay aint bad if u fancy urself as a bit of poll dancer. No watersports there due to the turtules which is a bit crap, but Laganas is well worth going to.

went to laganas two weeks ago for a week and it was that wicked i stayed for an extra week. I spent all my time in cherry bay as its pure cheese and girls are well easy in there. Walk out of back door and your on beach.Make sure you go to chevvys for breakfast - superb.

HiWent to Zante in May the footy was on so the place was buzzing with scousers. Best places to go was Zeros, Rescues and boozers. Also try the quad bikes and go to the beach party they are allll wkd cant wait to go back next year as I well miss the place.Please say Hi to the stag party from up north the geordie lads, norwich girls and not to mention the scouse house mad heads that were in our hotel.

Ya sas, Zante is cool known for the caretta's (Turtles) you can hire a boat from tsilivi to go caretta spotting. Lagnas has some great cocktail bars 'rescue' is cool and there was a bar man breathing fire it rocked. Zante town has some cool shops and good quality fake designer goods(lol). i also reconmend the 'Garden of eden' resturant in Laganas fantastic food. check out the water park too its fab. ENJOY!

Just back from Zante lastnight, holiday blues bigtime! The nightlife is just fab,we were there for 2weeks and the best places are Mad Murphys, Cocktails and Dreams, Cherry Bay and Rescue. Go to the Pink Panther in Laganas for the best karaoke bar!!!!!!!!!!!Try and work out how many pairs of pants the owner has on, he takes them off during the night!Also try the Cuban bar on the beach.

i was in zante last week it was lovely... if your ever in kalamaki at night time go into some off the cocktail bars it is so nice and if your in kalamaki looking or a meal go to mermaids or heavens kitchen coz it so nice... watch out for the little stree kids coz they try sellin summin to you but there just mugging you off... if they do come up to you say ella it mean loads of things but in this case it mean move go away... zante is lovely :]

You have to go to the baywatch beach party at the black and white club in Laganas, it was my best night in Zante (went June 07) Also for an insect repellent try rubbing lemon on your skin, it actually works! Wish I was there again...

Went to Zante in June and had a great time. Very hot though! was about 43c for the 2nd week. We stayed in Argassi, which is nice, but fairly quiet - it's not far from Laganas in a taxi though. You can go and see the turtles too!!

one thing you must try to do is get on a pedalo and see the loggerhead turtles, there amazing (know localy as caretta caretta)it was 48 degrees when we were there for the last 2 weeks in june so take plenty of sun cream

If you want a decent cocktail (made with real booze rather than cheap replicas that will make you sick!) make sure to check out Shooters Bar - it is in Laganas, on the Kalamaki Road. It is a great, laid back little bar, perfect for either before or after your big night out. I've been there loads over the years and the guys that run it are superb.

Go to the lovely resort of Tsilivi. There is an excellent bar there called MAMBO CLUB. It is owned by Takis and he plays the best music. Paris makes the best cocktails and are a very good price!! Friends Bar is awesome too and make you feel very at home. The Ark Bar is open 24hrs and serves the best crepes i've tasted, especially at 5am! Also the beach in Tsilivi is lovely, warm sea and good water sports. If you get time go on the LEVANTE Speed boat trip, half a day of pure fun with Spiros!! We have been to Zante 10 times now and will hopefully be moving there within the next couple of years.Roll on September 2007 when we're back there for the 3rd time this year!!! Yammas :-)

Ive been going to Zakynthos (Zanti) since i was 7 yrs old (im now 24) and i just thought i'd let you all know that you couldn't have chosed a more beautiful Greek Island to take Radio1! I spend my 7th, 18th and 21st birthdays there and i love it! Laganas is great for the night time and has some of the best beaches on the island but there is so much more to see and do in the day while you're nursing your hang over!! Just a 10/ 15 minute taxi ride away is the resort of Agassi where i try and stay every time i go. Thats good for shopping food and fantastic water sports. The whole island has changed so much over the years and has become more and more comercialised but it's still a great place to be. Zanti Town is a great place to go too.. full of history. The market is absoloutly fab... i could talk about it all day !!!! Just wish i was going when youre all there!!! Hope you all have a fab time... i'll be listening x peace x emma

The best bar has to be cocktails and dreams.. its got all you could ever want from cheese to all the new stuff! But if you want pure cheese, cherry bay is the place to be. Rescue and zeros are the best clubs for dancing in and look out for the hot naked men doing their fire tricks behind the bars!

One thing not to miss in Zante is the fire show at Zero's. The bar quite litrally becomes a furnace right in ur face! With the barmen throwing flaming bottles and breathing fire while you just realise it was stupid going to the beach for a tan when u could hav come here instead is immense. They will even teach you a bar trick or two!!
