Go back to the vote pageFrom 2000 (GMT) on Friday 18th March 2011 an online vote will be launched allowing listeners of Pete Tong's show the opportunity to vote for their favourite dance track of the past 20 years.
The vote will close at 2000 (GMT) on Friday 1st April 2011.
The top 20 will be announced on Radio 1 on 8th April 2011
Terms and Conditions:
1. This vote is open to everyone except BBC staff members or anyone directly connected in any way with the BBC or the vote.
2. The shortlist of 50 dance tracks from the last 20 years has been put together by a panel of experts. Listeners can vote for their favourite track, from which a top 20 will be generated.
3. Individuals can vote only online at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/petetong/dancevote between 2000 on 18th March 2011 until 2000 on 1st April 2011.
4. Any votes received outside the announced voting window will not count. Listeners can only vote once.
5. The top 20 will be announced on Radio 1 on 8th April 2011.
6. There will be no prize for anyone taking part in the vote.
7. The BBC reserves the right to disqualify entries or suspend voting if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting has occurred or if it considers there has been any attempt to rig the voting. The BBC has the right to substitute an alternative selection method at its absolute discretion.
8. If, for any reason, the online voting system fails, the vote may be suspended or a contingency plan may be actioned, including reverting to a panel.
9. The BBC reserves the right to change, cancel or suspend this vote at any time.
10. The BBC, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded.
11. The voting in this programme accords with the BBC Code of Conduct Voting.
