Euros Childs Live at Maida Vale

Euros Childs was recorded in session on Huw's show.

Euros Childs
is the front man of the much-loved Welsh psych-folk pop quartet, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci. He tells us that Gorkys are currently 'having a long sleep'.

Its great to have tracks in session from his first solo album Chops. Euros is label mates on Wichita with folk such as Brave Captain, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Cribs, Weevil and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

It all started in the mid-90s, Euros Childs was making music with Richard James, John Lawrence, Euros Rowlands and Megan Childs.

Euros also told us about a monkey badge that Huw got him from a techno festival. Huw seems to be to blame for the passing on of a cold to Euros and his band mates. Huw how do you plead?!

In the mean time he decided to make a record under his own name and is joined at Maida Vale by Alun Evans on guitar and Peter Richardson on drums forming what he calls a 'power trio'.
