Calm, reliable, short!

Advice to anyone who wants to get started in journalism:
Get involved early – college mags, radio stations, work experience at local papers etc. It shows you are serious about your career.

Where would you like to be in 10 years' time?
Living on the income my son (age eight) will be earning as a top footballer!

What's on your walls at home?
Mainly family photos and watercolours of Mevagissey.

Who would you most like to interview?
Muhammad Ali in his prime.

If you could be famous, what would you be famous for?
Bad jokes.

Andrew Marr because only a genius can make politics sound like fun.
