Last updated 10 January 2005

McFly

The BRIT Awards have linked up with the charity Save the Children to raise money for children affected by the tsunami in Asia.

The UK record companies trade association, the BPI, have guaranteed the first £500,000 of the proceeds of BRITs 25 will go to a two year project to aid children in the area.

The funds will help to reunite children separated from their families, provide education though music and help rebuild schools.
