In New Music We Trust - Miami
Miami Buzz Chart
Updated 1st April

DecksThe Miami Winter Music Conference is over for another year (sniff).

It looks like it's going to be another great year for tunes and if the list below is anything to go by then Ibiza is going to be off the hook!

Check out the Miami Buzz Chart for 2005 as supplied by DMC.

1. TECHNOTRONIC 'Pump Up The Jam' (White / CDR)
Not sure we've got the right title because it's so fresh.

2. BLAZE FEAT. BARNARA TUCKER 'Most Precious Love' (Defected)
Who could defy shakin' to that bassline, especially at those poolside parties?

3. AUDIO BULLYS 'Bang Bang' (Virgin)
Starting to find its crossover appeal this one and gaining that all important US support.

4. MARTIN SOLVEIG 'Everybody' (Mixture / Defected)
Injecting some rock into house this is gonna be a foot tapping, hand clapping future anthem.

5. DEEP DISH 'Say Hallo' (Yoshitoshi)
Last year 'Flashdance' was very prominent and now this…let the floodgates open!

6. BODY ROCKERS 'I Like The Way' (Mercury)
With so many mixes to choose from who couldn't play it? Top Draw!

7. DAB HANDS 'Super Good' (Ten)
Recently picked up by a major and gaining strong support from Norman Cook but will he remix it?

8. ROMAN FLUGEL 'Geht's Noch' (Skint)
Steve Angello's re-rub was definitely the mix of choice here.

9. JULIET 'Avalon' (Virgin)
Big sing along tune especially at the PA's.

10. CSSK Vs HOWARD JONES 'Things can only get better' (Rise)
Just one of the Italian contingency's golden nuggets.

11. MAX GRAHAM 'Owner Of A Lonely Heart' (Data)
The plethora of new mixes added a new lease of life to this favourite.

12. GADJO 'So Many Times' (Subliminal)
This vocal house cut gained momentum last Summer but now it's set to the damage again this year.

13. CHAB FEAT. JD DAVIS 'Closer To Me' (Azuli)
Guitar fuelled sound clash that originally surfaced on the SAW label.

14. MAD8 'Deep Sleepless Night' (Free2air)
Bini and Martini make sure they're pick of the crop on this label's Miami sampler.

15. NU FREQUENCY '808 (Why Oh Why) (Little Mountain)
This progressive gem just doesn't want to go away.

16. MYLO 'In My Arms' (Breastfed)
You just can't escape this fella not even across the pond.

17. THE KILLERS 'Mr Brightside' ()
That man Jaqcue Lu Cont at again…this really is Killer (sorry!!!)

18. DEEP DISH Vs DIRE STRAITS 'Money For Nothing' (CDR)
Bootleg alleged to be done by the boys themselves that features the Dire Straits classic over 'Flashdance'.

19. THOSE GUY'S 'I Walk Alone' (Basement Boys)
Baltimore's finest deliver yet another vocal masterpiece.

20. ROBBIE RIVERA 'One Eye Shut' (24 Seven)
The Miami home boy is firin' with his recent productions.
