Saw the Buzzcocks a few weeks ago and they played non stop for one and a half hours ( and I mean non stop). I had to admit that the atmosphere at Milton Keynes reached the same heights as seeing Queen at Wembley in '86 (I think, memory fades with age you know). Great Day, Great Gig, Great Crowd...

Green Day was my first concert and I went on the 19th so that was my dad treat. Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday were amazing. I was on the other side of the pit where the big fence was. W.M.U.W.S.E. was amazing too and so was Jesus Of Suburbia. There was this little kid near me who kept on givng me dirty looks so I just partied hard. My favourite bit was Minority or Longview. They are Green Days greatest songs. Shame they didn't play Welcome To Paradise and When I Come Around. I so f**** hope it comes out on dvd!!!

Fantastic from start to finish, although I did fall asleep on the hill during Hard-Fi's set after a good first few songs. Woke up in time to storm down towards the stage for Taking Back Sunday, superb and so glad they finished it with A Decade Under The Influence. Then Jimmy Eat World blew me away especially with The Middle and Sweetness. Then Green Day came on and totally rocked the whole of Milton Keynes and the 64,000 people watching. Fan-t***ing-tastic.

When they came on it was wicked with American Idiot really getting the crowd going. But the best had to be at the end when Green Day played Time Of Your Life with fire works going off. OMG. It was amazing, I was only a few people behind the security barrier at one point, but then, feeling like I was gonna throw up and faint all at the same time, I moved back a bit. By the time Green Day came on, we were still pretty near the front, the reactions they got from the audience was amazing. Even at one point when Billy-Joe told us his name was "ass-hole" everyone screamed themselves hoarse.

Sadly I only got to watch the first hour of their set (as I know many people did) because we had to go and catch the train back home....that sucked so much because what we did see was so f*****g amazing. A lot of bands who aren't nearly as successful are arrogant and unappreciative of the fans, not Green Day. Billie Joe made sure everyone was involved, the crowd paritcipation was amazing and his joking around on stage made it just that even more special. Pulling that little kid on stage to squirt the crowd with water was an amazin thing to do.

One of my best memories of the day was before they came on and 65,000 people singing along to the Beastie Boys, Ramones and the YMCA! It's hard to pick a song that stood out, although Wake Me Up When September Ends was incredible and clearly very close to Billie Joes heart. And Billie Joe is right, Mike Dirnt is the greatest bassist and Tre Cool the greatst drummer in punk. One thing that wasn't mentioned is the fact that Billie Joe is truly the king of punk... I'll never forget it!

I went on the Sunday and was blown away! It was absolute awsome! Billie Joe really knows how to handle a crowd. Fire blazing and fire works but thats not what made Green Day hot, oh no, it was the range of songs and the group's cheeky antics - Billie Joe pulled a moonie at each side of the stage and he pretended to masturbate but jokingly sniffed his finger afterwards. Wake Me Up When September End was played and I feel Billie Joe was caught in the moment as the song is to do with his father passing away, sadly when he was only 10. He seemed like he was trying not to cry as he kept looking up to the sky and shutting his eyes and here and there shout "ENGLAND" to probably take his mind off it. He also had said "Green day now belong to England" so guessing by that he enjoyed the concert as much as the fans.

Oh my, what a performance. Went a bit flat in the middle with too many of the 'Ehhhhh Ohhhs' but as usual the best was saved for the end of the show. Definitely one of the best live acts I have seen this year.

I loved the show. Billie Joe was very funny. He kept pickin on our side. I was in the first pit with crutches on. I advise every 1 to buy tickets 2 any green day concert. Tre Cool is the best drummer i have ever seen and heard, Mike has made great music but Billie was just so lively and amazing he just rocked milton keynes like mad. I dont think there was 1 person who could say any thing bad about that concert. They made me so happy I cried.

I cant explain how I like Green Day. I never listen to them at home but seeing them for the second time live has been the best chioce I could have made as they are amazing. Billie Joe can hold his vioce brilliantly and he interacts with the crowd like no one's business! The day was packed full of atmosphere and fun, and the surrounding hillside was just a mass of tiny coloured dots which was gasping to see. Although the sun burn is a killer today.

That was without a doubt THE most amazing show ever. I went to the 2nd gig, on the Sunday and the sore hip, feet, back, sunburn and the violation by someone's knee was totally worth it!! Taking Back Sunday and Jimmy Eat World were brilliant support acts (esp. TBS). While Hard-Fi were good, I don't really think the Green Day crowd were the right crowd, there was quite a bit of boo-ing when Hard-Fi were concerned If you didn't go to the concert then its so hard to describe it. I was at the barrier a few feet away from the band (very close considering..) and the performance from Green Day was just...oh.my.god. We had fire, pyrotechnics, Tre's dancing and eyebrows and sweaty arse. Mike's constant gurning and Billie's constant capture of the audience. It was a brilliant night and I know I'm not the only one who thinks that.

The opening gig on Saturday was absolutely amazing - the stageshow was brilliant, great pyrotechnics and the fireworks were a great touch. Green Day themselves were totally gobsmacking, really involved the audience and put on a fantastic show!

I went on saturday to Milton Keynes, it was the best gig I've ever been to by far! Indescribable. I had to leave before the end but King For A Day was superb. I really think those "mother******s at the U2 concert" could hear us chant 1 2... 1 2 3 4!

After spending an entire day burning in the sun, the bands began to take the stage. First was a london band called Hard-Fi, followed by Taking Back Sunday, then Jimmy Eat World, each getting the crowd more and more excited! The crowd was MASSIVE! We had managed 2 get to the very front row! (look out for us on the dvd!) Green Day took the stage, I always forget how amazing they are live, the control Billie Joe has over the audience is phenomenal. The lack of the older songs was a disappointment but the songs they did perform were amazing. The set was amazing, with fire, explosions and fireworks on the finale! I also managed to see Adrienne there to support Billie Joe, and all their kids there to see their dads on fathers day! It was an immense day, and well worth the money and the 4 hours round trip.

OMG it was the most amazing show! When the support bands were playing my friends and I were quite near the back. As soon as Greenday came on, we had to shove our way to the front, which was easy since everyone starting going CRAZY!!! I got stuck in the mosh pit, then got pushed straight near the front. It was so hard to breathe and it was so hot! Billie, Tre and Mike rocked so hard! And it brought tears to my eyes when Billie sang Wake Me Up When September Ends. I thought it was so generous how Billie gave his guitar away! Oh my God I wanted it! But Greenday rocked my world!

We queued from 7.00am at gate 6. Our bones were aching, we were red hot from the sun but finally we got in and ran straight in to the front. Front row, wow we couldn't believe it. After all this could they live up to our expectations? OH MY GOD YES!!!! Amazing doesn't even come close. High energy and complete rock all the way. Fantastic, I would queue for a week to see then again. I pity anyone that didn't go.

Saturday June the 18th was the best day in the world EVA! I got to the bowl before 11 that morning and had 2 wait ova 11 hours 2 c the band I've worshipd 4 quite a few years now! The 11 hour wait was well worth it. Green Day exploded on 2 te stage with American Idiot... it set the crowd alite... at that stage I was already red raw from sunburn and suffering prety badly from dehydration but I didnt care!... Green Day were 50 metres in front of me. Words can't describe how AMAZING the band were, every 1 of em! without a doubt, Billie Joe is the best front man since Rotten! PUNK IS ALIVE....AND LOUDER THAN ANYTHING!!!

Went to see Green Day on Saturday 18th June. I thought it was amazing, even though I was at the back on the bank, but from there I could see everything, the whole crowd and the stage. The atmosphere was fantastic, as there were 60,000 people there. I thought Billie Joe was amazing, getting the crowd involved and everything. My favourite song would have to be King For A Day. It was sooo funny.

Sunday 19th June was quite by far the best day of my life, Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday were great but Hard-Fi were a disappointment. Green Day were awesome. I had never seen them before so it was very special, we were quite close to the front. Doing the Y.M.C.A. with a pink rabbit was so funny. By far the best songs were Basket Case and Wake Me Up When September Ends. The energy when they played that was amazing. I think most people there had tears in their eyes including Billie Joe. They all looked gorgeous and I'm so happy i got to be part of it! Seeing them up close and personal like that really was breathtaking! you could say . . . I had the "Time of My Life"!!!
