Jay Sean was in the Live Lounge ahead of 1Xtra Live in Sheffield. He performed his single Down and also did a brilliant stripped back cover of The Black Eyed Peas 'I Gotta Feeling'.

He explains he can't wait to get on stage at Sheffield - hear what he's looking forward to and why he'll be on stage in his Y-fronts.

He told Fearne about his new life living in Manhattan and that the strangest bit about his fame is when his cousins and other family members ask for photos with him. He's not complaining though, he was number 1 in the US singles chart AND knocked off The Black Eyed Peas from their 6 month reign.
