Mika spoke to Jo on the phone as he is currently on a tour of North America. He is flying back especially to perform at The BRITs.

He talked about how nervous he was during his first Live Lounge performance last year and how daunting he found performing at Maida Vale studios.

Mika also admitted he is a fan of fellow nominee Bat For Lashes.

We heard Mika's Live Lounge performance of Grace Kelly from January 2007 and his cover of Massive Attack's Teardrops from the Live Lounge tour in December 2007.
