As one of the small group of British DJ's who discoverd the Ibizan club scene in the '80's, this was always going to be an important weekend for Danny. We caught up with him after his show on the terrace of Pacha on his way to getting some Sushi and a change of clothes before the Essential Mix.
Danny: "It was wonderful, it was perfect doing it on the terrace upstairs. It certainly set it up for the Essential Mix later."
The invite-only audience were entertained by Byron Stingily, Dina Carrol and the remarkable sight of a woman dressed in bits of sheet metal
Oh, and not forgetting the rather saucy Grandma Funk whose banter with Danny kinda lingers in the mind forever and leave a bad taste in the mouths of Radio 1 bosses
Ibiza legend and Pacha resident Pippi took control of the decks for a true taste of the island
Danny was all smiles, but admitted afterwards that Ibiza in August is just a bit too much: "I prefer July to August - it's a better month here, you can't move here now, and this year more than ever it's just so popular, there's no room on ths island. But it's all good and when the clubs are full they really rock"
And remember, you can never be over-dressed for Pacha
