06:30 - News and Sport
06:35 – We chat about the new Star Trek film and about last night’s EastEnders and Coronation Street, where no one's entirely sure what’s going on. Chris had pasta last night with a low fat sauce, and tells the story of his sad geeky mate who used to dress up in his Star Trek outfit. We also did that on stage years ago in Great Yarmouth, although Chris wore a Father Christmas outfit because he was large then.
07:00 - News and Sport
07:05 – We talk more about the world of Star Trek and its unique fans. Aled went to the premiere last night, and Chris wonders whether he went on his invite. We’re not sure but conclude that he’s probably just an opportunist and can’t really be on anyone’s premiere list.
07:20 – Rob DJ is cashing in on the show with the release of his new quiz book, and we talk about the viability of Rachel’s cake shop ‘Cake That’. Dave has found her some possible premises, and maybe Peter Jones could invest in it to cover the setup costs.
07:27 – The Lady Gaga Live Lounge gets an interesting reaction, and has been edited so that she doesn’t forget the words this time to Viva La Vida.
07:30 - News and Sport
07:35 – Dom deliberately winds up the Trekkies saying that Simon Pegg plays Chewbacca in the new Star Trek film. It works, and then we talk about Hell’s Kitchen, Marco Pierre White and Claudia Winkleman.
07:45 - Quiz Questions
08:00 - News and Sport
08:05 – Quiz Answers. Carrie’s a bit of a bad loser and won’t accept that she didn’t do very well.
08:20 – We announce the full line up for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, and the fact that headlining the Sunday night is now The Prodigy.
08:30 - News and Sport
08:35 – We play the Weird Al Polka Mix.
08:45 – We talk about Susan Boyle from Britain’s Got Talent, and the fact that we don’t fully understand what all the fuss is about.
08:55 - Aled is here and we talk about his evening at the Star Trek premiere last night.
09:00 – Tedious Link – Madonna 'Express Yourself'
09:05 – We talk about the fact that we need to do some new videos for our website and ask people to text in now with suggestions of what you’d like to see on video.
09:20 – We have received a lot of suggestions of what we should do for our next video. There’s a general theme which involves mud wrestling or boredom or both.
09:30 – News and Sport
09:35 – More mad suggestions of what the video should be about. Maybe we could put Dom on a roundabout or all of us on one of the different roundabouts in the Swindon multi roundabout thingy.
09:45 - Chegger's Pop Quiz with Cheryl and Matt. Both are back tomorrow hopefully.
10:00 - We chat to Jo Whiley about Lady Gaga yesterday.
