The Essential Mix - Live in Birmingham Updated 4 Oct 2001 The Essential Mix - Godskitchen and Gatecrasher Broadcast 01.00 - 04.00 Sunday 28th October The Essential Mix is coming to Birmingham on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October. Split over 2 nights, Radio 1 will be recording sets by the awesome Fergie and the mighty Paul Oakenfold. The Show will be extended by an extra hour and will be Broadcast at 1am on Sunday 28th October. Fergie's set will be recorded at the now legendary Birminham club night Godskitchen at Code on Friday. Paul Oakenfold's set will be recorded at the massive Gatecrasher party at Birmingham's NEC.

Godskitchen is at Code in Birmingham every Friday. On Friday 26th you can See Fergie playing alongside Armin Van Burren, DJ Jam X, DE Leon and AJ Gibson. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling 08700 761 999. Sheffield's Gatecrasher take over the massive NEC with a huge line up of talent on offer. Paul Oakenfold is joined by Pete Tong, Paul Van Dyk, Scott Bond and many more.
