Alternative Gig, Broadcast and Webcast Listings

Steve Lamacq, John Peel and Mary Anne Hobbs will be up in Birmingham for a load of major headlining gigs for broadcast. We will also have a full BBC camera crew webcasting the Charlatans, Pulp, Basement Jaxx and Starsailor - you'll find them on this site on each night.

Age Restrictions
We have tried to make as many of the gigs as open to all ages as possible, however the following restrictions do apply. You should also bring suitable ID to all venues if you are over 18 and want to buy alcohol from the bar
Academy:
Anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
Rock Show at the Irish Centre:
Open to all ages
King Adora at Sanctuary:
Anyone aged 14-18 must be accompanied by an adult, sorry no under 14's allowed.
Custard Factory:
18 and over only
