The one-time "saviours of indie rock" returned to the festival circuit with their first album in five years in tow. Recorded almost exclusively in Albert Hammond, Jr's home studio, Angles sees the New York quintet return to the roots of much lauded debut Is This It.
With a Coachella appearance under their belt in April, Mr Casablancas et al were primed and ready to take on the challenge of Gaga on the Main Stage.

such a travesty that the might strokes only played a 30min set and were second-fiddle to lady gaga
