An experimental rapper from Grimsby; not the most notorious breeding ground for hip hop artists, but Lincoln Savage a.k.a Linc has made his own mark on the North East.
With the 20 year old's lyrics focused on real life topics and word-play, he's taken the more gritty approach to hip hop that is often over-shadowed by the big 'gangsta rap' stars from The States. Trade your guns, 20-inch rims and bling, for some honest, raw UK Hip Hop.

As a man in his fifties if you check out my iPod you will find a wide and diverse selection from Abba to Zappa, and Mozart to Meshuggah. One thing you will find very little of though is rap/hip-hop I’ll be honest in saying it probably comes just above country at the bottom of my list.
I only caught the last couple of songs by these guys and loved every minute of it especially “screw up your face”. To be honest that was one of the highlights of my day for me stumbling on something as unexpected this . Definitely the best of the six or seven band I caught on the introducing stage.
