Blossoming from the underground via the BRIT School and some love from our sister station BBC Radio 1Xtra, Katy B came to the mainstream in the autumn of 2010.
On A Misson and Lights On shot the singer in the limelight and to the top of the charts as praise came from the dubstep community and the likes of MistaJam and Annie Mac. Her ever-growing fanbase were in for a treat in Carlisle.

One of the few singers to really impress on the live stage...totally upstaging the so called "headline acts"... my faith in new music is restored... :) Hits the high notes unlike some others...Pleasantly surprised.

Terrific set. Have to be honest don't really know what Dubstep is but i know that i love Katy's album it has been on repeat in the car all week.
Minor (very) criticism: Katy is a very beautiful girl but maybe some stage outfits wouldn't go a miss. I am not suggesting full on Gaga wardrobe but jeans and a cardie?

KatyB was absoluty awsome at big weekend, best song at the end Lights on.But no live interview back stage after, on-line. KatyB only listed in A-Z of website highlights. not in main header.
