Come and join Fiona for an "electro-synth-folk" listen. Hailing from the hills in the Pennines, Fiona Clayton has played for audiences ranging from just her parents, to crowds of over 1000 aged just 15.
Now aged 20, let's hope the Carlisle crowd can be her best yet.

Having managed to catch Room Full of Owls on Tuesday, I thought I'd give a visit to the BBC Introducing stage on Saturday too. Glad I did - Fantastic set by Fiona.
Also, quick mention for Jan .... fantastic save on the Xylophone there! ;)
See you all at Solfest in August.

Big up Fiona!!! Really gutted that I missed your set, I got to the tent just after you had finished (DAMN!), was gonna give you the biggest hand! Glad I got to watch your videos on here. Fiona Clayton not to be missed, or check out her band Room Full Of Owls - totally awesome - like a full folk band on steroids! Should have been all of them on the stage if you ask me - they have a really awesome drummer and bassist, as well as haunting keys and guitar, and to top it off they have a really awesome old-school fiddler, it all fits seamlessly together, these guys play like a real band should, check em out if you have forgotten what really good music sounds like!!!
