Loveably scruffy indie rockers We Are Animal hail from North Wales and cater in buzzing guitars and pummelled drums. Together they trek off into the Welsh wilds to walk, contemplate and put together the music and melodies that make up the band’s sound. Listening to their accomplished songs, there’s no way you’d think the band are only a few months old, but that’s the truth - they formed in December 2009. Using an old-school 8-track, they’ve been recording their songs the same day they write them in old quarries and abandoned buildings. If you’re into the Arctic Monkeys or Kasabian, this lot might be up your street.
