They may be the latest in a long line of bands named Somebody and the Somethings, but don't be put off. Marina and The Diamonds play an agitated blend of stirring synth-pop and released debut single Obsessions on London's Neon Gold label, home also to the hotly-tipped Passion Pit.

Marina's half Welsh, half Greek, and wholly brilliant. She's a big fan of Kate Bush, and her performances are every bit as powerful. On stage, she's a pocket-rocket, exploding with creativity. Watch Marina for just a second and you'll fall head over heels for her passion and charm. Not to be missed.
