Elephants are a four piece indie/pop band from Folkestone in Kent. They formed in September 2008 and attracted unwavering support from Jim, Tom and producer Jacob at BBC Kent Introducing almost from day one, recently being invited to play at the show's 1st birthday party gig at the Quarterhouse in Folkestone. They've also been played by Radio 1's Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq.
Elephants recently signed to Vacuous Pop records and are gearing up to release an eight track mini-album, pencilled in for release in May 2009. So, if everything goes to plan, 2009 may just turn out to be the Year Of The Elephant (or so the band's MySpace profile claims!).
