Beatbullyz are all about the positive energy and enjoyment with their uplifting fusion of hip-hop and street soul. It's a really smooth sound. There's Disco on live drums, Philonious Funk on the decks and Bozo on the mic. Over the top, frontman Bully (once part of Diesel-U-Music award winners, Nebula) delivers swooping, harmonic choruses.
Over the past few years, Beatbullyz have supported artists such as Midge Ure, DJ Yoda, Nate James, Just Jack and the Cuban Brothers. But their biggest claim to fame so far was winning themselves the opportunity to perform their track 'Keyz To Life' on Hollyoaks!
Beatbullyz are based in Swindon, so be sure to check them out on their home turf at Radio 1's Big Weekend.
