Radio 1's Big Weekend Moor Park, Preston, 19th & 20th May 2007

That was fun! It's the end of the road for Jo Blogs in Preston...

An hour after looking very very nervous Ricky and the Kaisers leave the stage crowned kings of Preston. Why were they so worried in the first place?! Oh My God brings the weekend to an end and Ricky darts around the stage like he was born for it...

Been out watching loads of bands - Mark Ronson (drew the biggest crowd side of stage) Saw The Klaxons - who are off to play at the Cannes film festival after tonight. They were immense - drew a massive crowd. Watch the video of Golden Skans...

Bit of a gig clash though - had to leave to catch the View. Their stamina is amazing. They were partying hard since around 5 yesterday and when I asked Kyle what time he got to bed - he said he hadn't slept. Impressed. Just as they played the last chord Mika rushed up - cursing that he'd missed them and saying Superstar Tradesman was his favourite song. I got video of them performing Faces For The Radio. Because going on stage with The Fray yesterday was slightly embarrassing (fact: i have no tambourine rhythm) I thought I'd have a go at infiltrating another stage - but this time in disguise. Yep. That didn't work either...

My job was to come on and carry the 'V' from LOVE, then dance around it. I couldn't see a thing and my feet were even larger and furrier than usual. Therefore no dancing from this bunny girl...

So as mentioned previously I was trying to keep in disguise. Unfortunately, Mika pulled my head off and had a go himself.

Rihanna got a car from the dressing room to the main stage. Edith had a few words for her..

Just been watching Mark Ronson - packed at the side of stage - Edith, Vernon , Reggie, Kaisers all watching. Ricky was saying that they've just filmed a part in the next Mark Ronson video - it's Lily Allen doing Oh My God...think he said she's a bunny and starts flirting with the Kaisers. Or I could still be drunk.

Earlier we saw him eating noodles in the canteen, then we got some time for a chat...

And Dizzee rocked it, getting one of the best crowd reactions from the day.

Had lunch with James from the Klaxons (sausage and mash) - told him Jake Shears thinks he's hot. He was rightly flattered then wowed us with some Hollywood gossip which he then made us promise not to tell. Rubbish. Lets just say Jake's not his only fan...she's a Hollywood blonde...ps. Check out Dizzee in the background loving a noodle..

Did a signing session with my other half - Scott Mills. Couldn't believe it when he turned up. He was the last man standing (well slumped) in the bar last night. In true diva style Scott refused to take off his galsses for the whole session.

So...it was a long night in the bar. With many a DJ beef discussed over a pint or two or three...So today it's been all about dark glasses.Actually you need dark glasses cause it's the day of bright clothes. Everyone's wearing dazzling colours - from the Klaxons to MIA to Dizzee rascal.

This is the man I'm spending most of the day with today. Mr Scott Mills. Witness his hangover...
