Millions of women around the world suffer years of pain before a diagnosis
It's thought that around one in ten women of childbearing age have endometriosis, yet it often takes years of excessively painful periods and struggles to conceive for most to get a diagnosis. While there's no cure, surgery can help but it's not an option that's available to many around the globe.
