DJ Edu meets Wegz, a superstar rapper from Egypt.

Wegz is huge in Egypt, one of the most popular rap artists of the moment. When he drops a track he often gets millions of views in just days. His lyrics are hitting the spot with young Egyptians and he has a knack of tuning in to the most popular sounds and reflecting those in his songs, whether it’s R'n'B, grime, trap or Egypt’s own shaabi. Afrobeats has been an influence in some of his most recent releases.
