Tempoe
Nigerian producer Tempoe tells the story of some of the biggest hits he has worked on, including CKay's Love Nwantiti and Alcohol by Joeboy.
Nigerian producer Tempoe has made some of the continent's biggest hits with some of Africa's biggest artists. He co-produced one of the most successful Afrobeat songs ever, Love Nwantiti by CKay, which went viral on social media in 2021 and charted internationally. Tempoe also produced Joeboy’s Alcohol, which had amassed 50 million streams within four weeks of its release.
In this edition, Tempoe tells the story of these songs, gives his take on the role of the producer and the creative process of music making, and reveals that he has no desire to take to the stage or step into the limelight as an artist in his own right.
