Tayc
DJ Edu talks to Tayc, one of France's biggest R&B stars, about his connection to his Cameroonian roots.
Julien Franck Bouadjie, AKA Tayc, is considered to be one of the great figures of R'n'B music in France at the moment. Born in the French city of Marseille to Cameroonian parents, he's always been very much in touch with his ancestral heritage.
He launched his musical career in 2012 after relocating to Paris where he studied theatre and dance before moving to songwriting. His debut album was released in 2019, but his second, entitled Fleur Froide or Cold Flower, really launched his international career. He created what he calls the Afro Love movement in 2019.
