Jizzle
Gambian rapper Jizzle discusses his 10-year rise to stardom, and how he's working to develop his own unique style.
After a career of 10 years, Jizzle is finally having a really big moment. He’s in talks with a major record label. The versatile Gambian started as a rapper but has now embraced Afrobeats and, in his latest track, Amapiano. As he tells DJ Edu, he’s keen to develop his own unique style incorporating Gambian sounds. He also describes what it’s like to be a big star in Banjul, with crowds of kids mobbing your car!
In his 10-in-10 mix, DJ Edu has new tracks from Zambia, Mauritius and Sierra Leone.
