Dynamq is a rare thing – a successful musician from South Sudan. He’s a DJ, producer and recording artist who fell in love with reggae and dancehall music from Jamaica in a refugee camp in Kenya. In this edition of TIA, Dynamq tells DJ Edu about his terrifying escape from the civil war in southern Sudan when he was a child, and about his efforts to find and create a South Sudanese sound.
