Can 100 Women Really Change the World?
Behind the scenes of one of the BBC’s 100 Women challenges, and executive producer Liz Gibbons responds to one listener who didn’t feel included this year.
Now in its fifth year, the BBC 100 Women Season aims to celebrate female talent and tackle the major challenges facing women around the world. This year, it attempted to tackle four major challenges over the month including sexism in sport and illiteracy. The executive producer of the 100 Women Season, Liz Gibbons joins Rajan to respond to listener feedback about the series. Agnes from Nairobi outlines how she felt left out of some of the challenges while Helen in the UK was interested in one particular initiative to involve men.
