Meta's Zuckerberg to testify in social media trial

Mark Zuckerberg will testify in a landmark jury trial on social media addiction.

It's the first time the Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg will be questioned in a US court about the effect of Meta's Instagram on the mental health of young users. Losing would represent a major blow for the tech giant - potentially setting a precedent for a flood of similar lawsuits. The claimant argues her mental health issues are a result of becoming addicted to Instagram, and Google’s YouTube, as a child. Our reporter explains what's at stake.
