President Trump has told the World Economic Forum he wants immediate negotiations to acquire Greenland for the United States.

President Trump says he wants immediate negotiations on ownership of Greenland, but that he won't use force to take it. Addressing global leaders at Davos, Mr Trump said only America could protect the Arctic territory and that Denmark was "ungrateful" for refusing to relinquish it. We have the key takeaways from Mr Trump's speech and speak to our reporter in Davos, and we hear what the reaction has been in Denmark.

Our security correspondent and our Washington correspondent assess how President Trump’s focus on Greenland will go down with NATO allies.

We also speak to local hotel owners and tour guides in Greenland about how the spotlight is affecting tourism on the island.

Hundreds of photos revealing the faces of those killed during Iran's violent crackdown on anti-government protests have been leaked to BBC Verify. We speak to our colleagues from BBC Verify.

Presenter: James Reynolds.
