European leaders accuse Washington of “intimidation”
Five EU citizens denied US visas, accused of trying to "coerce" American tech platforms after campaigning to introduce new regulatory laws.
The European Union has condemned a decision by the US to impose visa bans on the former EU commissioner Thierry Breton and four others involved in regulating tech companies. The US State Department announced the move on Tuesday, accusing Mr Breton and the others of leading efforts to censor Americans online. We get analysis from our correspondent.
