'Real progress' in Ukraine peace talks
Ukrainian and American negotiators say there's been real progress in peace talks.
Ukraine's lead negotiator at high level peace talks with the US in Berlin says there's been real progress in the push to end the war with Russia. Rustem Umerov said negotiations had been constructive and productive. We have the latest from our correspondent and from the press conference in Berlin.
Australia's prime minister has said the two men who shot and killed 15 people at a Jewish celebration at Bondi beach in Sydney were not part of a wider militant cell. Our correspondent has been following the developments.
We also hear from the father of bystander Ahmed al Ahmed, who was filmed wrestling a gun off an attacker. He has been telling the BBC his son was driven by "conscience and humanity".
And we bring together members of Australia’s Jewish community to reflect on and discuss the Bondi beach shooting, and to share their experiences of being Jewish in the country.
Presenter: Luke Jones.
