Syria is marking the first anniversary of the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad.
Syrian president Ahmed al-Sharaa has been addressing the nation as celebrations are being held to mark one year since Bashar al-Assad was toppled from power after a lightning rebel offensive. We hear from people who are celebrating and from those who are concerned over minority rights.
Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces say they've seized the country’s largest oil field. We speak to our global affairs reporter.
We get an update on the tensions between the US and Venezuela. We also hear from three Venezuelans inside the country.
