
Sudanese accounts of escaping el-Fasher
We hear from people in a camp near the town of al-Dabbah.
The Sudanese city of el-Fasher in the western Darfur region was recently captured by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). This was a huge victory for the paramilitary group, but widespread accounts of brutality, killing and rape have drawn international condemnation. The BBC has travelled to a camp set near the town of al-Dabbah in northern Sudan to hear first-hand the stories of those who escaped. We speak to our Africa correspondent Barbara Plett Usher.
