Kirk shooting suspect in custody

US officials say they have arrested a 22-year old man suspected of shooting Charlie Kirk.

US officials have confirmed the arrest of a suspect in the shooting of the right-wing youth leader, Charlie Kirk. The governor of Utah Spencer Cox said the man - identified as 22-year old Tyler Robinson - had confessed to a family friend, who had told the police. Mr Kirk was shot in the neck while addressing a crowd at a university on Wednesday. We get the latest from our correspondent, and we speak to conservative and left-leaning influencers about their concerns over security and political violence.
