Trump unveils new 10% global tariff

After Court rules he exceeded authority on tariffs, Trump imposes new 10% global levy.

US President Donald Trump has imposed a new 10% global tariff to replace those struck down by the Supreme Court. The justices ruled that he exceeded his powers when he imposed additional tariffs on many of America’s trading partners.
Also in the program, the government in Gambia has expressed concern about its nationals being lured into fighting for the Russian army in Ukraine.
And we speak to the Sámi DJ collective Article 3, performing at the annual Norwegian arts festival Barents Spektakel. This year marks the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the Russia–Norway–Finland border, which split Sámi communities across the region.
