
Thousands attend No Kings protests across the US
Protesters came together to oppose what organisers see as threats to democracy
Protests have erupted in cities and towns across the United States in response to Donald Trump’s presidency. In the lead-up to the demonstrations, Trump allies accused the protesters of ties to the far-left Antifa movement, branding the events as a "hate America rally."
Also in today’s programme: Hopes for a renewed ceasefire between Pakistan and Afghanistan following high-level talks in Doha. Tensions between media and President Trump's administration were on display this week. And, a bold new voice at the London Film Festival -- the director bringing same-sex dominance and submission to the big screen.
