A US immigration agent has shot dead a woman in the city of Minneapolis further deepening the row between Washington and Democrat-run states over Trump's immigration crackdown. Federal officials said a woman was trying to kill agents with a car in Minneapolis. We hear from somebody close to the incident when it happened.

And America has seized two sanctioned oil tankers linked to Venezuela in back-to-back operations in the North Atlantic and the Caribbean. US forces boarded the Marinera, originally known as the Bella 1, between Iceland and Scotland as it headed towards Russia on Wednesday. Bella 1 had been travelling under a Russian flag.
